During the climate conference, Beyond Kyoto, citizens of Aarhus expressed their support for large-scale climate improvements by using Climate on the Wall, an interactive generator of climate statements that used Ridehuset, a prominent building in the city centre, as a backdrop. Climate on the Wall used camera tracking on the sidewalk in front of the building to track when there was movement. Projectors displayed different words associated with climate, and by using the camera tracking, passers-by could interact with the words, and create sentences to create statements about the climate. Climate on the Wall was produced by Digital Urban Living, in collaboration with CAVI.
