Wroclaw Capital of Culture 2016 visiting CAVI

The Polish city of Wroclaw is designated as one of the two European Capitals of Culture of 2016, the year before the baton is passed to Aarhus. In connection with this, the management of “Wroclow Capital of Culture” visited Aarhus and CAVI to establish a collaboration.

The guests begin the meeting with a guided tour of CAVI

While enthusiasm among Aarhus’s citizens is rising as we approach 2017, and collaborations are established throughout the city, CAVI is involved in an international collaboration with “Wroclaw Capital of Culture 2016”. The management made CAVI, at Aarhus University, one of their target destinations when visiting Aarhus on 25th of November 2013. Together with AU Smart Cities, CAVI and Wroclow established opportunities for collaboration in the areas of Smart Aarhus, art and culture, the use of new technologies, and within the fields of education and research. As CAVI is one of the main players in the field of digital culture, Wroclow considered it important to visit the research centre, and CAVI is proud to initiate collaborations on future cultural projects.
